Top of the Bench

On Thursday 11th January, Peter Smyth, Neave Spikings, Callum Bingham and Sonny Chiba represented the school at the Royal Society of Chemistry Top of the Bench competition.
They competed against 14 other schools in the Bristol and District region, completing several practical challenges in the University of Bristol Chem Labs.
The students won the competition, substantially beating all other teams! They will now be representing the Bristol district at the national finals on an all-expense paid trip.
Anti Bullying Competition

Well done to Rebecca Pham in 8R who won the competition last term to design a new R3 postcard on the theme of anti-bullying. This new postcard will shortly be in circulation.
Year 9 Pathways Information Evening

There will be a Pathways Information Evening on Thursday 12th January. This is an essential information gathering evening for all year 9 students and their parents/carers to find out more about the courses that they may wish to take during Key Stage 4.
Cybermentor

Well done to the students below who took part in a 2 day intensive training programme to graduate as a Cybermentor. This training was delivered by the National charity Beatbullying who have trained over 5000 young people nationally to support other young people in tackling bullying.
