Enrichment Week

Essential Enrichment Week Info - 26 June 2019

See the link above providing details of the essential information for Enrichment Week which includes start and finish times for trips, clothing and lunch requirements.  Please note that students are not expected into school until the time it states on the attached list if they are going on trips.  For students who are taking part in, in-school activities then the normal start time applies, finish time will be 2.35pm, students staying in school should wear normal school uniform although if they are taking part in Sports rotations then they can wear PE kit into school.  There may be an opportunity for students taking part in sports rotations to go swimming at the Leisure Centre so please provide your son/daughter with a towel, swimming costume/trunks and a £1 coin for lockers for all Sports Rotation days. 

Students taking part in the following activities, please see below:

Hobbs House Bakery trip - students will be cooking their own pizza for lunch but any other snacks or drinks will need to be taken with them

Movie Marathon & Board Games - students who have chosen this activity will need to bring their favourite board games into school with them.

Airhop & Bowling Trips - 3 slices of pizza and fruit squash is provided at Air-hop, any other drinks or snacks will need to be brought with them.

Cupcakes, Biscuits and Cookies and the Bake off - to help with laundry turn around please bring your own tea towel, apron (where available) and dishcloth - for cupcakes please bring in a 12 hole bun tin as these are in short supply in school.

If your child is in receipt of free school meals and are taking part in trips then please ask them to collect their packed lunch from the trip leader before the trip departs.

All student trips and in-school choices are now displayed opposite the main school office and students have been checking their weeks allocations so should be fully aware of what they are doing each day, together with where they should go for each activity.

If your child is taking part in a school trip then please ensure all necessary medication is taken with them in their school bag and that they inform the trip leader that they have it with them on the day.

Year 7 -  PGL Liddington (Sunday 14 – Weds 17 July).  Leaving on Sunday (time tba) and then arriving back on the 17 July at approx. (time tba), 1 day Team Building Event (18 July), 1 day Charity Walk (19 July) - see Summary letter above

Year 10 - will be undertaking Work Experience.
