Sports Fixtures

 

 

Basketball Programme at BSCS

Morning Practice Sessions:

Every morning from 8:00-8:25am you can come in to the Sports Hall and play 3 v 3 basketball or practice shooting. You do not need PE kit, but you must have correct footwear (no black soles or school shoes)

Enrichment Coaching Sessions:

All players interested in representing the School Team must attend training sessions at the following times:

  • Monday – 2:35-3:35pm Enrichment Training with Mr Lynch, Mr Baker and Mr Moir
  • Monday – 3:35-4:35pm Team Training with Mr Young
  • Monday – 6:00-7:00pm Additional coaching with Olympus Jets

PE kit is needed with appropriate non-marking footwear. Sessions will take place in the Sports hall. Team vests are provided for matches and festivals.

**Times: Away fixtures will leave school in the minibus once students have changed after their last lesson of the day and return at approximately 6:00pm (traffic dependent). Home matches will start at 3:45pm and finish at approximately 5:30pm.


Please note: Games will be played on the traditional surface (grass pitches for football and rugby or tarmacadam courts for netball) unless ‘ASTRO’ is listed when only rubber soles are permitted. Blades and metal/plastic studs are not safe for ASTRO use.
