The school site is one of the most technologically advanced in the country with specialist facilities in all teaching and learning areas of the school and a flexible wireless and hard-wired ICT infrastructure throughout the school, including interactive whiteboards in all teaching areas. There is currently a ratio of one computer to every two students with a mixture of desktops and laptops available for use by students at all times of day. All students and staff have school e-mail which they can access from anywhere with an Internet connection, along with their online learning resources via our 24-hour school facility. Specialist software is used in all subject areas to give students the appropriate tools to solve problems and engage in learning at the highest level. The school is currently researching various model of learning platform before integrating a virtual environment into the 24-hour school which will enable staff, students and parents to access learning materials and relevant information about student progress and achievement. |
