Enrichment

To make best use of the excellent facilities available in school, there is a range of enrichment activities available to students after school. The school’s facilities are used extensively by the community when the school is not using them.

We have established partnerships with organisations wanting to use the school’s facilities and an extensive programme of enrichment for students at Bradley Stoke Community School is evolving, provided by other users of the school.

These extra activities may occur straight after school, in the evening or even at the weekend and they enhance the learning experiences of our students!

In addition there are many educational visits and events as well as opportunities to participate in sports teams, music lessons and concerts. We run “session 16” days, which involve the normal school timetable stopping approximately every 16th day to enable extended curriculum activities and visits to take place for all students without disrupting the learning of others.

All students in Key Stage 3 have an enrichment hour one day a week at the end of the day when they choose activities from a menu offered by staff for a term at a time during the year.
