Year 9 Pathways
In Year 9 students will make important decisions about their future education, and the pathway they take through Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11).
All students take the subjects below as part of the core programme:
English Language (both are timetabled within ‘English’ lessons)
English Literature (both are timetabled within ‘English’ lessons)
Maths
Religious Studies (examined in Year 10)
Science (combined or separate science, this choice is made by the science team)
Alongside this, students continue to take part in core PE and to have PSHEE lessons; neither are examined.
In addition to the core programme above, students will select 3 subjects from those below:
