Bradley Stoke Community School Celebrating 20 Years

Congratulations to Year 13! A level results are in...

Once again, Bradley Stoke Post 16 students celebrate outstanding results and secure places at top universities and degree apprenticeships.

Bradley Stoke Community School is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Post 16 students. Overall, for A Levels 19% of grades were A*-A, and 47% A*-B. For vocational courses the average grade was a Distinction-. Early indications suggest that this cohort has made some of the strongest progress from GCSE to A Level at the school in recent years. Students once again have gained fantastic opportunities at top Russell Group universities and higher/degree apprenticeships, including CACI Information Intelligence Group, Skanska UK PLC and BAE.

Headteacher Sophie Francis said: ‘The year group should be proud of their achievements – we have been so impressed with their attitude, focus and determination. I would like to take this opportunity to formally acknowledge the incredible efforts students have made and congratulate them on their results which will open the door to their next adventure. It is also important to recognise the hard work and commitment of staff at BSCS and across the Olympus collaborative Post 16 provision, who work tirelessly to help BSCS learners fulfil their potential. I would also like to thank families for their continued support and acknowledge all the organisations who have contributed to the wide range of opportunities and experiences our students have benefitted from. We wish our Year 13s every success and look forward to hearing of their further successes and achievements in the future.’

Assistant Headteacher and Head of Post 16, Sadie McCombe, was delighted with the results: ‘These excellent results are a clear reflection of the dedication, resilience and hard work shown by our students and staff over the past two years. It’s incredibly rewarding to see their efforts recognised. We are immensely proud of all our students – they have bright futures ahead, and we wish them every success as they take their next steps.’
