English National Opera

English National Opera is giving Free Tickets to Under 18’s for every opera next season on Fridays, Saturdays and Opening Nights. 

Since the scheme’s launch in December of last year, over 1000 kids have come along for free, ranging from a class of 5 year olds to a group of 30 Sixth Formers.

Sixteen and seventeen year olds can come along unaccompanied and up to ten 5-15 year olds can go free per teacher. 

(Parents who aren’t teachers can bring up to four children with them for free). 

The best titles for first time opera goers and school kids are probably The Mikado, Madam Butterfly and Carmen.
