GCSE Results 2025

We would like to congratulate all Bradley Stoke Community School students who received their GCSE results today. We know it can feel like a long journey to reach the end of Year 11, but throughout this we have seen great determination and dedication.

It is a testament to this that overall attainment remains high for our students and is broadly in-line with last academic year. For overall entries, over 27% of grades were 9-7 (5 percentage points higher than national) and 64% of grades were 9-5 (12 percentage points higher than national). 70% of students achieved five or more grades at 4 or above, and 60% five or more grades at 5 or above. Whilst progress is not being measured nationally, internal data indicates that our students have achieved strong outcomes this year.

We are extremely proud of all students, but within this cohort there are some notable and standout performances to celebrate:

Elbadri D – Eight Grade 9s, one Distinction Star, and two Grade 8s.

Aamna M – Seven Grade 9s, one Distinction Star, and one each of Grade 8, 7 and 6.

Jack S – Six Grade 9s, four Grade 8s, and one Grade 6.

The following students achieved three or more Grade 9s: Jack W, Matthew S, Michael R, Tristan B.

And these students showed fantastic progress: Bella J, Ben T, Evie H, Jack F, Lexi I, Marcell M, Olivia W, Poppy H, and Saanva K.

Headteacher Sophie Francis said “We are so pleased for our students who should feel proud of everything they have achieved – they have applied themselves and they have achieved so much, both academically and personally, across their time at BSCS. These students had a very different transition to secondary school than other year groups, but their attitude towards their GCSEs means they have finished Year 11 on a real high. I would like to take this opportunity to thank staff who have worked tirelessly to encourage students to achieve their personal best and families for their continued support. Thank you also to all those who have played a part in this year group’s wider education – exams are just part of the journey, and the students will have so many other memories of school because of the generous contributions from local employers and organisations. Well done to you all and I look forward to welcoming many of you back in Year 12.”

Deputy CEO of the Olympus Academy Trust, Claire Banks commented "These results reflect the dedication of our students, the unwavering support of their families, and the tireless efforts of our teaching staff. It’s a moment of celebration for our entire school community. We are especially proud of the progress made across key subjects and the individual achievements that demonstrate the strength of our inclusive and aspirational ethos."

As the students move on to their next chapter, we wish them the best of luck and further success; we look forward to welcoming many of them back to Post 16 at Bradley Stoke in September.
