How to support Year 11 students through their exams
I am writing to all Year 11 parents at this time to ask them if they would like to attend a morning (8.45-9.45am) or evening (6.00pm-7.00pm) session next Wednesday 22nd April on ‘How to support your child through revision’ over the next 6 weeks. There are only 23 days left until the first exam of this year and some students and parents are a little unsure of what they need to do to ensure success. The session will give guidance on where to find all the revision material for each subject, guidance on how much study students should be doing each day and night and what will have the biggest impact on outcomes at this late stage.
There will also be opportunity to talk to myself Peter Lynch (Deputy Headteacher), Susie Davis (Director of Student Support), Louise Adams (Associate Leader i/c Year 11), Lynda Cordukes (Student Support Coordinator) and Lauren MacNeil (Learning Mentor), if your son or daughter is being mentored by one of us this term.
It would be fantastic if you could confirm your attendance with Paula Warren on paula.warren@bradleystokecs.org.uk, so that the appropriate venue and refreshments can be ordered.
