Humanitarian Aid

OAT schools are collecting donations to alleviate humanitarian crisis in Calais. Items can be dropped off at BSCS reception, between 9am and 4pm, Monday 7th Sep to Thurs 10th Sep. We will take all donations to one of the drop off points in Bristol. Please only donate clean, good condition items that are on the list below:

 

Accommodation:

Tents

Sleeping bags

Blankets

Mattresses

Camp beds

Roll mats

Pillows

Pillow cases

Canvas sheets

Damp proof membrane - to cover shelters

Plastic tarpaulins – for ground sheets

Chairs/stools, e.g. folding chairs and camping stools

 

Clean clothes:

Currently only men’s clothing is needed

Shoes - UK sizes 7.5-9.5

Wellies - UK sizes 7.5-9.5

Socks

Jackets – small sizes

Trousers - UK sizes 28-32

Shirts

Underwear

Waterproof jackets and trousers

Hats

 

Hygiene:

Anti-bacterial products

Cleaning products

Basic toiletries (soap, deodorant, towels, kitchen paper, toilet paper, razors, shaving products, sanitary products)

Plastic pots (usable for small laundry)

Basic first aid kits

Wipes

Bin bags

 

If you can bring these items in solid boxes instead of plastic bags, the boxes can be used as storage.
