How our Mentors helped us in Y7

Being in Year 11 means these students have been there and done that! They know how it feels to be the ‘newbies’ in school and so know some great tips to help you as you go through your first year at BSCS.

Don’t just take our word for it, here’s what some year 7’s have to say about our amazing mentors!

They are fun and make you feel better when you are finding things hard

It’s like having a big brother in school

I like talking to my mentor because she understands

They really helped me when I had problems with my friends

I like it when I see them around school because they say Hi and it makes me feel safe

They help us think about ways that can help

They are kind, and they listen
