Movie Night for Y7 & Y8 students

Post-16 students are running a movie night on the 6th of December for Y7 and Y8 students. It will run from 6:30pm-8:00pm to raise money for the Wild Goose Café. The Wild Goose is a café in Easton that serves food to the homeless, rough sleepers and people with very little money. It’s a great place to volunteer, the team there is very supportive and determined to help the less fortunate. The people who go there to eat are at the lowest point in their lives and are in need of food, showers, people to talk to, and overcoming their addiction to substances. Volunteering there has been really insightful as we’ve come to meet people who can’t afford the same luxuries as us; a roof over our heads, clean clothes, a meal at the table, etc. It’s especially worse during the winter season which is approaching. From the movie night we hope to continue our support for the Wild Goose.

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 28th November. You can buy them in tutor time or at break time by the canteen. Please help support us – and come and have fun at the same time!
