Plastic Waste in School

At BSCS we are always trying to think of ways in which we can be more environmentally friendly and cut down on plastic waste in school.  One small step we will be taking after half-term is to stop providing disposable plastic cups for water.  Water is always available in the Dining Hall or at the water fountains around school but students will now need to provide their own re-usable water bottle for use during the school day and at break and lunch time.  If students forget their bottle then water fountains can be used instead.  We hope you will support us in this small step towards a ‘greener’ school, we are always open to suggestions as to how we can work towards cutting down on waste which is harmful to the environment we live in.
