Bradley Stoke Community School

Summer Live Lounge 2018

Every year the students get more confident, professional, resilient and creative with their Live lounge performances, and this year was no exception! A massive thanks goes to all the students for their fantastic performances, endless enthusiasm and commitment to music, we were blown away yet again!

The choir were also a great addition to this year’s live lounge.  it was fantastic to hear them all sing together at the end of yet another stunning live lounge.

The music team and I would like to thank the very dedicated back-stage crew Billy Wilde, Tom Phillips, Izzie Crossman, Callum Hodgson, and Lewis Pearce. The team is headed up by Joe Trott and I am so grateful for their immense dedication throughout the whole year at various school events; they are so professional and such an asset to the department.  Huge thanks goes to all of them for all their hard work, support, enthusiasm and professionalism.

I am extremely lucky to have such a fantastic team; Mrs Hopkins-Edwards, Mr Watson, Mr Trott and Miss Brake.  I thoroughly enjoy working with them and I couldn’t do my job without them. The students are so lucky to have such a great team of people around them who are always willing to go the extra mile for them to achieve and give such fantastic performances.  Thank you to you all!

Finally, last but by no means least, I would like to say a special thank you and goodbye to those students leaving BSCS this year.  We hope that you enjoy your new adventures and wish you all lots of luck.  Thank you for all the support you have given my team and all the students, past and present.  Your dedication, willingness to help, creative suggestions and humour never fails to amaze me!  We are all extremely proud of every single one of you, we will miss you all!!

Thank you so much for all the positive emails we have received- we really appreciate them.  if you have any suggestions for Christmas live lounge, any songs in particular that you would like to see performed then please don’t hesitate to email me.
