Y7 - Y9 Face to Face Catch Ups

Next week is going to be a very exciting week at BSCS, as we will are welcoming back all pupils for a ‘face to face’ meeting with their tutor (even if only for an hour). To allow for social distancing, each tutor group has been split into two groups of 15 students. These sessions will take place in two large spaces, the Main hall and Dance studio, so to easily allow students to remain 2m apart at all times. The sessions has been designed to give students the opportunity to talk about their experiences of lock-down, allow them to have some closure on this year, clear out their locker, catch up with other members of their tutor group and will hopefully reduce any anxiety about coming back to school in September. Students will have a tour of the site to show them the new social distance corridors, new one way systems and hand sanitizer stations.

Students are asked to remember the following:

wear non uniform
bring in a pen
remember their locker key
bring a plastic bag to carry locker contents home
return library books
arrive no early than 5minutes earlier than their allocated time slot
enter the building via their allocated entrance
socially distance with their friends to and from the school site
ensure that they follow all instructions and signage in the building
and to carry a handkerchief or tissue in their pocket.
